Tanjung Aru Beach Parking — Where to Park & When It Fills Up

If you drive to Tanjung Aru Beach, the main parking sits near the First Beach entrance and Tanjung Aru Plaza. It is the most convenient base for food, toilets and the sunset lawn.
Parking here is the one cost many drivers pay, and it fills quickly at peak.
Where to park
The primary car park serves the First Beach / Plaza side. From there it is a short walk to the sand, food stalls and playground.
If the main lot is full, drivers circulate on the access road; avoid blocking gates or emergency access.
When it gets busy
The lot fills from late afternoon toward sunset, especially on weekends and Malaysian public holidays. Arriving earlier in the afternoon greatly improves your odds of a spot close to the entrance.
